HI, I'M JONATHAN.
I’m Jonathan, the filmmaker behind 4K Weddings. I graduated from film school in 2011 and have spent more than a decade behind the camera, but weddings have always been the stories I love telling most.
My approach is simple: let the day happen naturally.
Your wedding isn’t a film set, and I don’t believe it should feel like one. I’ll step in when a little direction is helpful, but most of the time I’m focused on documenting what’s already happening, the nerves before the ceremony, the laughter with your closest friends, the vows, the speeches, and all of those little moments you may not even realize are happening.
Every couple is different, so I don’t try to make every wedding film look or feel the same. Your personalities, your people, your words and the energy of your day become the story.
Most importantly, I want you to actually enjoy your wedding. I’ll come prepared, work closely with your photographer and vendor team, and capture everything I need without making the day feel like a production.
Years from now, I don’t just want you to remember what your wedding looked like. I want your film to bring you back to exactly how it felt.

WHY I LOVE WEDDINGS
Photographs have an incredible way of freezing a moment. Film gives you something different. The ability to experience it again. You'll hear your vows exactly as you said them. You'll hear the emotion in your parents' voices, the laughter during your best friend's speech, and the music and energy of a room filled with everyone you love. And you'll see moments you completely missed because you were somewhere else experiencing your own. That's what I love about wedding filmmaking. I'm creating something that becomes more valuable with time. Ten, twenty or fifty years from now, these aren't just going to be beautiful images. They'll be the voices, people and moments that made your wedding yours.

Jonathan was INCREDIBLE. Not only is he incredibly talented, he's also so kind. He offered us a ride in his personal vehicle from where we took first look photos back to the venue, which would have been about a fifteen minute walk, but it was unseasonably warm, so he drove us back! He delivered our videos incredibly quickly and frankly, he should be charging more for how quality his work is. We cannot recommend him enough!
